My name is Larry Thiessen. I love ideas, I’m sometimes referred to as a contrarian, and I am what I would call “a restless soul”. Mostly I like to learn, challenge myself, and push against the status quo. A friend once described me as “one of those guys who will look you right in the eye and tell you what he thinks. But he’s totally committed to the cause, and you know you can count on him to go the full distance.” I hope that is true.

I read, run, play guitar, and help people think differently. My goal for this website is to explore all kinds of topics that relate to “staying engaged and living well” as we grow older.
